 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor, comedian, and activist. After moving to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actress in her early years as a child. From 2013 to 2016 she was the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. She gained fame for her role in television commercials. Her commercial appearances were not her only activity she was involved in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot television series New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At two years of age, she and her parents immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. The financial struggles of her family resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She quit her sophomore year and earned an GED. Then she went on to receive an Associate of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of the art of improv comedy.
